” LET’S BE FRIENDS”

Lambing time’s landed round again, not many landed yet but they’ll get going in the next few days I guess, back to the slog of early mornings & late nights looking after the old yows & feeding hungry lambs. Just got used to having a lie in after packing up with the milking, could do with the weather drying up a bit (yes I know us farmers are always moaning) you need a pair of flippers or a boat to travel across our land & there’s no grass due to the recent cold spell. Spent the last few days nursing an old yow which had packed up eating & had to be yanked back up on to it’s feet, we pumped all sort’s into it & it lambed yesterday & then died but we did get a live lamb off it & a dead one. Things can only get better.
